Are You a Surgeon?

Cutting people open with the knife (of our words) to show them what’s wrong with them is no big deal at all… Even a well-trained aboki that works in slaughter to make suya can use his knife very well.

But to be qualified to use knife on humans, you should have had a proper training that gives you the authority to be called a surgeon.

Yes, I know Christ has given you authority, but that authority is to trample upon snakes and scorpions… and not to go about cutting people open to show them what’s wrong with them…

Some people already know what’s wrong in their lives & your having to constantly rub off their inadequacies on them doesn’t make any difference…

Even if helping them sometimes requires your having to use the knife of reproof, rebuke and correction. Performing the surgery on their lives doesn’t end there, how about trying to sow them backup to close the wound you may have inflicted…

And also, not forgetting the post operative management that requires using the painkillers of encouragement, which is so vital in having a successful surgical operation…

A life surgeon that just goes about using the knife of rebuke, reproof & correction on people without proper stitching and follow-up with the painkillers of encouragement is no different from the aboki guy working in slaughter.
